| Welcome to the Bowral Baptist Church Website, |
| Bowral Baptist Church has been around for over 75 years and is testimony to God’s grace to save a people for himself and equip and use them in his service. I am glad to be part of God’s work to grow and mature his disciples and to make others through our united Gospel witness. Paul’ s words to the Colossians sum up the priority of ministry for us here at Bowral. ‘We proclaim Him (Christ) teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom so that we might present everyone mature in Christ’ (Col 1:28) As we gather each week for Sunday Church our focus is on proclaiming God’s greatness and grace in the Lord Jesus Christ so that we might be built up in Christ and equipped to serve his saving mission in the world. |
| Central to our meeting together is the reading and preaching of the Bible for this is the means by which God saves and rules his people transforming them by His Spirit to be like his Son Jesus. Each week we also enjoy praising God and encouraging each other in song, prayer and our speaking. Our aim is to spur each other to keep trusting and obeying Jesus until he comes. We are very glad to have visitors drop in or meet those enquiring about how to know God or keen to find a new Christian family. Saturday mornings we meet for a church wide prayer meeting at 8 - 9am. Other nights we meet in various home groups to study God’s word, pray and support each other. You will find other ministries on the website, however all aspects of our lives provide us with opportunity to minister through building each other up and reaching out with the Gospel. We are not perfect but we trust you will find us relying on Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness and new life and committed to pleasing God in all we do. You will find us meeting together on Sundays at 10am and 5pm (6pm during daylight saving time) at 13 Merrigang St. Bowral next to Corbett Gardens. |
